Newly Released in Entertainment - September 2018
Now I don’t know about you, but every time a new trailer or teaser for something in entertainment gets released, I get excited and I mean really excited! So I would like to introduce, ‘Newly Released in Entertainment‘. I’ll write about the latest releases that have excited me and it’s also a great little hub for you, to catch up and find out what’s coming up in the entertainment world.
Daredevil Season 3 - Many Marvel Netflix fans have been waiting for the long return of this third season. Especially after the events of the team up show ‘The Defenders’, as well as the fact that every other superhero on the team as been given another season of their show after the team up. I guess it only seemed fitting for the long awaited season to build up some fan suspense. Coming to Netflix 19 October.
Captain Marvel - The first female lead superhero has finally been given a release date and 2019 can not come by quicker. How badass does lead actress Brie Larson look by the way and it’s set the 90s (Such as cool era!) Plus, I’m pretty sure she’ll be saving all the male Avengers in the next civil war. PFFTTT… who wouldn’t want to see her back story. Coming to cinemas March 2019.
‘An Edited Life‘ by Anna Gardener - Anna from the anna edit has revealed she is writing a new book. I can’t tell you how excited I am. I have followed Anna and her content for such a long time. The fact that she is releasing a manual for organisation life hacks for home, life and work so up her ally and a brilliant idea! We all could use some minimalist anna edit tips. Pre- order available now. Released on 10 January 2019.
Doctor Who Season 11 - I was soo excited when the official trailer dropped, but I gotta admit that I was pretty disappointed, previous season trailers are usually more suspenseful and exciting that give you a little bit more of a taste of what’s to come. But then again, a new showrunner, a new lead, a new cast. Us Whovian fans just gotta keep optimistic about the new changes, because its gonna be a big one. I gotta admit it has a very different vibe to that of previous trailers, which is the first thing I noticed especially with all the warm bright tonal colours. Episode 1 Premiering 8 October 2018.
Wreck it Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks The Internet - Ok I have to admit, when I was dragged along to the cinemas to see this movie. I had quite low expectations, (after all, it was a kids movie). But boy was I wrong, it pulled at my heart strings and made you really root for these animated characters. Man, kids movies these days are amazing. I think writers are gaining more social awareness about the themes and issues targeted towards kids but also realising that the same emotions can pull on the heart strings of the adults that have come to chaperone the little ones too. Coming to cinemas 21 November 2018
Mary Poppins Returns - When Emily Blunt was cast to fill the shoes of Mary Poppins I was very excited. I thought who better to fill the shoes of the great Julie Andrews. Now that the trailer has been released you can see them trying to modernise what made the original so unique by combining the realism an animation of film together. Coming to cinemas 19 December 2018.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald - Now this is a trailer, they have absolutely nailed and captured the excitement involved with the franchise. With the introducing some new supporting cast as well as some familiar faces, I along with many other Potterheads are quite excited for the release. Coming to cinemas 16 November 2018.
Let me know in the comments which latest announcement got you the most excited for it’s upcoming release or have to seen another trailer lately that has made you more excited!
